Compatibility depends on the vehicle model, model year, original key circuit board and factory equipment.
Important Compatibility Requirements
• The vehicle must have a factory-installed push-button start system
• The original key circuit board must fit inside the new housing
• The original key and circuit board must be fully functional
• Traditional insert-and-turn, slot-in or plug-in ignition keys are not compatible
• Available functions depend on the original key and vehicle equipment
• Mobile-app key functions are not supported
Installation
The circuit board from your original key must be removed and professionally soldered to the supplied wiring harness. Comfort Entry is activated through the supplied OBD module.
This product is a smart-key conversion housing and not a pre-programmed replacement key. The original circuit board is not included.
Professional installation is required. Incorrect soldering can permanently damage the original key circuit board.
